A group of our Trek High Schoolers have wrapped up their
stay at Long Lake Conservation Center. Yesterday was full of adventure and activities. Today we had an orienteering race in chilly temps below zero! We are exhausted but had a blast!
The Lake Vermilion ski trip is heading home from their adventures. They spent a ton of time outside, embracing multiple forms of skiing. Lots of adventures, fires, and laughs!

TrekNorth Sundogs are loving the Long Lake Conservation Center!
High Schoolers had an awesome first day here at Long Lake Conservation Center! We have done so many fun things, like walking through the woods and getting to pet snakes! More adventures await us tomorrow!
It's National Live Unified Day! A day to rally around inclusion, kindness and the unified movement. We celebrated with a pancake breakfast, bingo at lunch time and by wearing red or unified spirit wear. TrekNorth is proud to be a Unified Champion School.

Some of the JH Nordic Ski Club members had a great day out at the Mt. Itasca Ski Races today. Well done Sundogs for giving your best efforts, braving the cold and the hills!!
All high school students are invited to come to Cocoa and Cram on Thursday, January 11 at TrekNorth from 4-6 pm to prepare for the end of the first semester. Staff will be available for support. Cocoa & treats will be served. Sign-up via email form.

The JH Nordic Ski Club had an amazing day at Mt. Itasca. We got to ski on REAL SNOW! Congratulations to all Sundog skiers on a great day of racing and fun!
Sundog Taekwondo Testing was last night! For the taekwondo test, 14 kids tested, and with the exception of 3 board breaks, we had a 100% pass rate. 8 students received attendance awards, (75% or higher), and Marquis King earned the only perfect attendance award.

Hard working group of volunteers headed to Village of Hope today to help with some cleaning. Thank You Village of Hope for helping us learn about what you do to support families in our community and giving us some valuable insight into housing issues . Bonus shout out for the amazing donuts!!! What a treat!
On Friday, Unified Athletes and Parters were invited to attend the Unified Wonderland Winter Formal at Bemidji High School. Students socialized, ate pizza, and dance with athletes from area schools and had a blast!
Ojibwe Storytelling Event: 12/21/23, 5:30pm-7:00pm at TrekNorth, in the Commons.
Please join us for not only an enjoyable family experience, but also an educational one, offering an opportunity to learn about Ojibwe traditions that contribute to the fabric of our community.
Dinner includes: roasted bison, wild rice pilaf, mixed berry/greens salad, and medicinal teas, catered by Vince Johnson. Wild Rice Soup and snacks will also be available.
Door prizes will include a variety of beaded earrings, blankets, and gift sets.
