Tomorrow, a group of Trek students will return from the last of the fall outdoor trips. They stayed in the beautiful cabins at Lake Vermilion State park, visiting the Soudan mine, the Bear Center in Ely, and hiking out to a waterfall. Looking forward to hearing all the stories! Who's looking forward to the winter trips?!?
8th graders returned yesterday from a great trip to Long Long Conservation Camp. They explored a bog, went canoeing, did archery, and many other fun activities. It was a whirlwind of activities packed into three days!

It is spirit week at TrekNorth. Monday is PJ/Sweats Day. Tuesday is Tropical Day. Wednesday is Wear Pink Day for Breast Cancer. Thursday is Adam Sandler Day. Friday is Costume Day. All students and staff are encouraged to participate in the fun!
The Halloween Lock-In will happen on Friday, October 27 beginning at 5 pm. Middle school students are to be picked up by 9 p.m. High school students stay until 11 p.m. School-appropriate costumes are welcome. Tickets-$4 grades 6-8 & $5 grades 9-12.
Beading Club will start next week on October 24th in the TrekNorth Commons, 3:30-5:00pm Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays. All are welcome!
TaeKwon Do Club T-shirt drive ends Friday, October 6th. Shirts are $20 and the price has dropped to $45 for uniforms.

When students join TaeKwonDo Club, they will have the first 30 minutes of class to receive help with homework before training begins. The club is open to all students, regardless of age, experience or grades. Positive physical activity is directly related to increased learning. See Jerry for more info.
