TrekNorth Junior & Senior High School

The JH Nordic Ski Club would like to recognize and thank TrekNorth Varsity Ski Team senior, Carter Derby. Carter has, by example, shown the younger skiers all the skills and Trek Traits it takes to be a successful Sundog athlete. He has been a great help to the coaches and skiers at practice and at our race day events. He helps load gear, wax skis and find misplaced gear. He cheers on team mates, sets up camp, stirs the soup and even catches bibs that blow away in the wind! Carter is always positive, kind, patient and encouraging with younger skiers. He doesn't leave the trails till the last skier crosses the line. He is always on time, cheerful, prepared and ready to give it his all. Carter is the best example of what it takes to be part of a "TEAM" and we are proud to cheer him on! Go CARTER and Go Sundogs!
